The Sindalah Island in NEOM’s Red Sea features luxury villas and yacht club for the guests
Plans for a new luxury resort on Sindalah Island have been announced by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a leading luxury hospitality company, in collaboration with Hotel Development, a division of NEOM that is responsible for developing a future-centric hospitality ecosystem in the developing region.
Sindalah is among several islands located in the Red Sea that are set to be developed in NEOM, each with its distinctive vision and design. It covers an area of about 840,000 square meters (9,041,684 square feet). The primary luxury hospitality firm announced that their latest high-end resort will comprise 225 guest rooms and suites that have terraces that offer a view of the Red Sea’s beaches.
The soon-to-be-developed island resort will be composed of 52 villas, each having one to four bedrooms, and equipped with plunge pools and beach views. In addition, there will be presidential and royal villas with private swimming pools, gyms, and access to private yacht docks.
The architectural design of the Resort is being led by LUCA DINI Design & Architecture. Furthermore, the interiors of guest rooms and public areas will be handled by RBTA and LW Design respectively.
Aside from the upcoming Four Seasons resort, Sindalah will feature a luxury marina and yacht club, a 9-hole golf course offering 18-pin experiences, and numerous dining options. Throughout the year, the island will also host refined cultural events, impressive sporting spectacles, and lavish social celebrations.
“Four Seasons’ upcoming resort in NEOM will be a one-of-a-kind project, blending the natural wonders of the Red Sea with the future-forward technologies on which this new, exciting destination is being built,” said Bart Carnahan, the President of Global Business Development and Portfolio Management at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
He expresses pride in being associated with the grand vision of NEOM’s partners to revolutionize the hospitality industry in the area and eagerly anticipates welcoming guests to explore a previously unexplored area of the Kingdom.
“Sindalah follows NEOM’s vision and purpose of mitigating the impact of unchecked urban development while protecting and regenerating the rich natural capital of the region. In terms of hospitality, our goal is to shape a new frontier for the industry, and Four Seasons is the perfect partner to work alongside towards this,” states Chris Newman, Executive Director of Hotel Development at NEOM.
“While NEOM will have something for every kind of traveler, the Resort on Sindalah will be perfect for those looking to rest, relax and explore in the beautiful setting of the Red Sea, while enjoying the service that Four Seasons has built an incredible global reputation on”, he added.
Guests staying at the Resort will have the option to choose from four distinctive dining experiences and several lounges, in addition to the various dining options available in Sindalah. Moreover, Four Seasons is offering an extensive spa experience with multiple treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, a hammam, and a vitality pool.
For those seeking an active vacation, guests will have access to a fitness center, numerous indoor and outdoor pools, and a range of water activities, including water skiing, kite surfing, and windsurfing. Additionally, an onsite diving center will enable guests to explore one of the world’s most coveted diving destinations and discover the diverse marine life and ecosystems present in the Red Sea.
It is expected that NEOM, the economic zone with a budget of $500 billion that is intended to accommodate nine million individuals, will receive partial financing through a flotation anticipated to take place in 2024.
